Initially starting my CG career as an animator, my path has taken me through several disciplines including photogrammetry, modelling, lighting, surfacing, as well as the major entertainment media production pipelines of TV, film, and AAA games development.  

All my experiences (especially lighting) have developed my eye for breaking down surfaces into the different constituent parts that describe what that surface is and has made me very conscious of the part textures and shaders play in producing high quality images.
